Mindo is a very small town at the confluence of
two lovely trout streams no one seems to fish.
In Mindo the bananas are abundant in March. They
begin something like this
Carry the violet color to the small fruit.
Then green and, if you don't pick them in time, yellow.
Fanesca is a very rich soup traditionally prepared at
Easter time or 'Semana Santa.' This photo is for Phil.
